Verizon officially releases OS 5.0.0.886 for the BlackBerry Curve 8530

Verizon customers holding dearly to a BlackBerry Curve 8530 should be happy to know that Big Red just released an update that carries along the latest version of the platform for the smartphone. The official update to OS 5.0.0.886 can now be downloaded online through Verizon's web site and brings along some new fixes and tweaks – thus resolving any of the remaining bugs found with the handset.
