Verizon announces additional markets going live with LTE on December 20th
At this point, we wonder if Verizon’s engineers are getting so good at lighting up the new network, that the news and PR folks are having trouble keeping up issuing news releases about new additions.
It was literally four days ago when Verizon announced a bunch of markets across the Rocky Mountain and northwestern states and that same day, and a couple days since, Big Red has more than a dozen additional markets going live with LTE on December 20th:
That brings the count somewhere north of 470 LTE markets at this point for Verizon and there is no signs of a slowdown.

- Altoona, Pennsylvania
- Stark County, Ohio
- Mason City, Charles City, Marshalltown and Oskaloosa, Iowa
- Hastings, Kearney and McCook, Nebraska
- Saddlebrooke, Payson and Casa Grande, Arizona
- Farmington, Gallup and Ruidoso, New Mexico
- Clarksburg, West Virginia
That brings the count somewhere north of 470 LTE markets at this point for Verizon and there is no signs of a slowdown.
