T-Mobile UK promises to have Froyo for the Samsung Galaxy S by the end of the month
As Samsung Galaxy S owners around the world slowly take comfort that Android 2.2 Froyo will some day grace their handsets, it appears a little bit more optimistic for T-Mobile UK customers sporting the smartphone.

Previous reports hinted to the update becoming available next month in October, but T-Mobile UK's recent posting on their support web site validates its availability by the end of this current month; September. So it's going to be quite interesting between now and the end of the month if this pans out for handset owners who are obviously watching with intent eyes as other handsets are being graced with Froyo's offerings. Now it shouldn't be long before T-Mobile UK customers with the high-end smartphone can start reaping all the rewards of Android 2.2 Froyo.
