Sony issues first software update for the Xperia Z
Sony is ready with the first firmware update for the Xperia Z, and a few users have reported that the company has already begun the roll-out. The update brings the software version of the device to 10.1.A.1.434, but it isn't known exactly what it fixes or improves yet. However, some believe that the update comes to fix the weird problem that bricked some random Xperia Z handsets lately.

By the looks of it, Sony will be rolling this update out in phases, so not all users will have it from the start. If you aren't receiving a notification for an available update, be sure to check Sony's PC companion app, because that's where you might find the update ready and waiting for you.

If you get the update, be sure to let us know if you can notice any changes in the device's performance!
