Vodafone will offer the HTC Magic for 449 Euro
There has been quite a buzz for some time now, surrounding the second Android-based handset by HTC, the Magic. In Europe, it will be offered exclusively by Vodafone, and as we have already reported, its launch may be delayed until May. Now, the Italian site of the carrier reveals information about the phone’s pricing.  New customers will be able to get the Magic for free with certain plans, while current subscribers - at an initial tax of 149 Euro, plus additional 9 Euro per month (the period is not defined but we expect that it’ll be two years). However, if you don’t want to get engaged in service agreements, you can buy the HTC Magic with a prepaid card for 449 Euro. There is no information if these prices will apply to the other European countries too, or they will be available only in Italy.

I actually really like the look of this new handset over the G1. I absolutely can't stand the look of the G1. I know it never will, but would be nice if this came to VZW. I would consider making the switch from my Storm to this if it did.

ya the G1 is rather ugly and cheap plasticky looking.

If T-mobile gets this phone it will be a huge success in America
