US Cellular will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S some time in October

US Cellular customers might be enjoying the sweet taste of the recently launched HTC Desire, providing the regional carrier a legitimate high-end Android smartphone, but it isn't going to be alone in sharing that status. Sliding beneath the radar after their HTC Desire announcement, it looks as the carrier will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S some time in early October. Naturally, it will be a difficult decision for US Cellular customers as the two are regarded as some of the best Android handsets out there. For Samsung, this can easily be considered as yet another victory as they continue to reach out to a myriad of carriers domestically – thus pushing additional sales to make their Galaxy S line of handsets one of the most popular around the world. Although we can all look forward to its unveiling, the release date and pricing has yet to become officially public – but expect that to come in the coming weeks as we get closer to October.
