T-Mobile planning on reducing myTouch 3G to $99.99?
It’s not the first time we’ve seen the T-Mobile myTouch 3G going under the $100 mark on contract, but this latest move aims to get clear out the original model in anticipation for the myTouch 3G 1.2 launch. People who’ve been eyeing the myTouch 3G for a while now will be glad to know that the smartphone will be getting a $50 price cut starting this Wednesday February 10 – making the device go for $99.99 with a 2 year contract. New and existing customers can take advantage of this or opt to see if T-Mobile slashes the price again if inventory levels have not been met. So if you don’t care for a 3.5mm headset jack or increased memory, maybe it’s time to get yourself into the Android platform with the original myTouch 3G.

they need to drop the damn no contract price... unless they are planning on making the 1.2 $450 like the fender edition... which would be STUPID. They also need to drop the no contract price of the G1 down to like 300 or less.
