Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact unveiling livestream: watch Sony’s IFA 2014 keynote here
Sony is on a tight schedule: only six months after unveiling its new Xperia Z2 flagship, it is ready to reiterate again with not one but two new smartphones: the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact. Sony has also got a new Z3 Tablet in the plans, and with all those announcements, it will have one of the busiest IFA keynotes.

Luckily, Sony will livestream the Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact unveilings, so you can partake in that special moment.

We expect an appearance from the man in charge, Kaz Hirai himself, to take the wraps off the two handsets, a new tablet, and maybe even something more. In any case, we expect a big unveiling event and we hope to see all the new devices right after it and bring you the hands-on coverage right away.

The Sony IFA 2014 keynote livestream starts on September 3rd at the following time:

Sony IFA 2014 Xperia Z3 event times

7:15am PT | 10:15am EST | 3:15pm GMT

I wasn't trolling at all. You just recently said you're still fine with your Z and just rehashed your comment. Take a chill pill lol.

I'm interested in how they'll react considering they trolled the S5 announcement articles. Bookmarked and ready to watch.

Xperia Z->Z3 leap for me is like one S leap on iPhones.

Or 3GS to 5S. Now that's a giant leap.

Better believe I will. I remember your comments from the S5 thread advocating Sony. ;)

PS - I like how you edited your comment.

Well first of all Sony doesn't have as many things to fix as SS :) Still, I think Z3 is not as big of an upgrade as Z2. It may be important for the company however. And I think Z3 C is gonna be amazing.

Who cares? S5 had the "prime" model. And don't tell me "it's only in Korea ". You can buy it no matter where you live.

Dude its a 6 month cycle....not 1 year.

When z4 announce, u will need to see z2 to z4. Because of 1 year gap.

Yes they do. Their main area of concern is UI and availability. Same UI for the past two (going onto three) years and no global launch. If you want, you can throw in camera software too because they're pretty bad in that department.

Doesn't matter. I compare the latter to the former. Z2 wasn't that big of a jump from Z1 and by the looks of it, Z3 is what the Z2 should have been. That's Sony's fault.

It's targeted directly for Korea, and is completely different from the S5. Z3 is for a semi-global launch. That's completely different.

Supposedly the Z2 is what the Z1 should have been.. So are they just supposed to make the most advanced juggernaut phone ever, and never make any updates to it ever?

Samsung, Apple and LG has made that successful. Note 3, 5S and G2 still hold it's ground to flagships today.
