Here's what is certain - HTC paid a visit to the Trade Marks and Design Registration Office of the European Union, and registered something which goes by the name of HTC Sensation.

Now, the not so certain part - it is yet to be seen what this HTC Sensation thing is going to be, but we may be looking at the name of what is believed to be HTC's upcoming tablet UI. Here's a hint which can be found in the trademark description:
"Sensation" is the upcoming HTC UI for tablets?
"Mobile phones, smartphones, wireless phones, wireless devices, portable computers and personal digital assistants, computer hardware and software for mobile, portable and wireless devices; user interface software; computer hardware and software for user interfacing, telecommunications and telecommunications services; computer hardware and software for transmitting and receiving voice, image, data, audio, video and multimedia content; wireless modems; headsets, headsets with wireless transmission function, connection cables, cradles, mounts, face plates, batteries, power adaptors, chargers, cases, in-vehicle chargers, in-vehicle holders, remote controls, keyboards, microphones, loudspeakers, leather pouches for mobile phones. "

Of course, this doesn't prove anything unequivocally, but it fits nicely with the facts that HTC has a pretty good UI for smartphones (Sense), and that the Taiwanese manufacturer is set to score a hattric of tablets in the near future.

The picture is below, so have your say what's your opinion on this story - are we looking at the name of the new HTC UI?
