Pictures of a new Samsung device for Vodafone have appeared; the device runs on Vodafone's Linux Mobile OS and might be the Samsung Riedel, a device that recently received Wi-Fi certification. The unit is in a nice looking brushed steel case with a bright OLED display that gives out haptic feedback when touched and the handset is expected to sport an 8MP camera. Talk is that the phone will launch along with the "Vodafone People" service which is supposed to integrate customers with the social networking sites. BGR says they have heard that a "Special Event" is coming for the carrier on September 24th at which time we might learn a lot more about this device and the new service that will go along with it.

I guess this will be a competitor for the Nokia N900 as this is also based on Linux like the N900.
