Samsung Galaxy Nexus is officially launched in Canada via Bell and Virgin Mobile
There’s a lot of partying going around overseas where the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is commercially available, but on our side of the pond, we’ve been twiddling away for the day when it finally hits our continent. Well people, the long awaited Ice Cream Sandwich powered Samsung Galaxy Nexus is officially available in North America – though, it’s only in Canada to be exact.

Although US consumers will need to wait a bit more before experiencing the next big thing in the Android world, our Canadian friends north of the border can happily pick up the smartphone starting today, December 8th. Arriving on its scheduled date, you can pick it up through Bell or Virgin Mobile – with its 3-year contract pricing set at $159.95 and $159.99 respectively. For those looking to pick it up without the need to become a slave to a contract, you’ll need to dispose a hot $649.99 to buy it outright.

It’s one thing for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to be officially available in North America, but it’s another thing that US consumers are still in the dark in regards to an official availability date with Verizon’s version.
