Opera Mini conquers the App Store globally in less than 3 days

It's been three short days since Apple approved Opera Mini and the program appeared at the App Store and the extremely popular browser has already managed to climb to the very top of the iTunes ranking of most downloaded applications. Opera proudly states that more than 1mln. copies of its software were downloaded in the first 72 hours after the official release. We cannot say we are surprised really, because it didn't take us long to discover first hand that Opera Mini is about 2.5 times faster than Safari and despite the fact it's not perfect in every respect, the browser is a great alternative option, so we can only congratulate the developer on their handiwork. We also hope we get to see Apple open their platform even further, so customers may benefit from more and better applications. And here is the first, irrefutable argument to support the claim - Opera Mini. Have you checked it yet? Opera Mini is really fast, and I'm glad to have it as an alternate browser on my phone for when I can't get a fast conenction. However it doesn't render some webpages correctly. For example on this site, on the left hand side, you can choose to view phones by carrier or manufacturer. For some reason when I pull up the site via Opera Mini, the carrier list doesn't show up. I don't know if it's just an Opera Mini for iPhone issue. Can anyone else replicate this issue?

Sky Fire coming soon...hopefully...I be Apple Approved this Opera because there is a Safari upgrade in the works...

I would be willing to bet they approved it because they stopped supporting the 2g iphone and this is the "sorry to poop on all your future updates" apology to the slow data speeds on edge

I got my app once it hit the app store!! Shimmyx20: to answer your question..I did exactly what you did and mine worked fine..try landscape mode or reset yer iphone..hold both power middle button down for 10sec to reboot..everything works fine on my end..try updating yer phone if needed
