LG watch phone to price at 1,000 pounds?
What is the price of exclusivity? In the case of LG's G910 watch phone and European carrier Orange, the answer comes out to about 1,000 British Pounds, 1,144 Euros or about $1,500 American Dollars off contract. With the exclusive rights to sell the device in Europe, the speculation is that the carrier will ask for about 500 BP with a 50BP monthly charge with a two-year contract. The watchphone has 3G HSDPA connectivity with a capacitive 1.43 inch display, camera, and MP3 player and is expected to be released in Europe during the second quarter of this year.

Yea I agree. Although I did see a video of it being demoed at MWC on engadget and it actually looked surprisingly easy to use. The icons were somewhat small but it seemed manageable anyway. I personally would never go for it, too simplistic for me, but who knows it might be a hit with people not concerned with texting, etc. They also said it has voice activated prompts that seem to work well via BT headset. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.
