HTC U Ultra is now in stock in the US

Earlier this week, we told you that folks who pre-ordered the HTC U Ultra in the US should expect to receive the handset starting today, March 10. Well, the smartphone is indeed shipping, and, what's more, it's now in stock for anyone wanting to buy it.

HTC is selling the U Ultra only via its official website (at least for now). The device is offered unlocked for $749, and you can get it in white, blue, or black. The price includes a pair of HTC USonic Adaptive Earphones, and HTC UH OH Protection (which entitles you to a free one time replacement in case the phone is damaged by water, or its screen breaks). Standard shipping (3-8 business days) is free, but you can choose next day shipping for an extra $9.73.

With its large footprint and Liquid Surface design, the HTC U Ultra is bound to turn heads. The smartphone sports two displays - a 5.7-inch Quad HD one, plus a smaller ticker screen on top - and is powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor. Other notable features include a 12 MP rear camera, a 16 MP front-facing camera, 64 GB of storage space, and Android Nougat with HTC Sense Companion.

As a reminder, the HTC U Ultra is a GSM/LTE device, meaning it's compatible with carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, but does not work on Verizon and Sprint. So, who's looking to buy HTC's latest high-end phone?
