You have probably heard that the HTC HD2, which natively runs on Windows Mobile 6.5, can run on Android and Windows Phone 7, but what you might not know is that thanks to the joint efforts of XDA Developers folk, it can now dual-boot into either one of the two. This will certainly make life easier for all the indecisive and just curious ones wanting to have both operating systems on a single microSD card.
The process, however, requires some skills and involves some risks, so try it with caution. Make sure you also check out the XDA thread and video below for a detailed walkthrough. Even though the HTC HD2 is now more than a year old, it still packs some muscle comparable with today's high-end handsets. The HD2 has a 4.3 inch screen and a 1 GHz processor, which make everything run smoothly. What you don't get, however, is the price premium for a new device – the handset is pretty affordable now and is definitely worth a look as its main drawback was Windows Mobile 6.5. Let us know if you manage to dual-boot your HD2!
