Gig Finder from Nokia finds live music events based on your location

Owners of specific Nokia phones no longer have to wonder if there are any live music events happening in their area, thanks to the new Gig Finder program. The software uses GPS to find your location within the US, Canada, Ireland or UK. You can use the Easy Search feature to first find live events in the area by artist, genre, city, venue, specific date, or date range. Once you find an event you want to attend, you can then purchase tickets directly via the phone and get directions to the venue. There is also a link to download artists music via the Nokia Music Store and Ovi Music. Currently, the first release of Gig Finder only works with the Nokia devices based on S60 5th Edition: Nokia N97, N97 mini, X6, 5800, 5530 and 5230.
