Flash-playing Skyfire Browser soon heading to the iPad

We told you that Skyfire Browser for the iPhone was warmly welcomed by the Apple community when it was first released, grossing $1 million in its first week in the App Store. According to the Skyfire team, one frequent request they receive is to bring Skyfire to the iPad and now it seems it's on its way.

Skyfire for the iPad is set to arrive "hopefully before Christmas" for around $5 and it was recently demoed (video below). Except for its obvious advantage - smooth flash-playing capabilities - this version of Skyfire will add in-app shortcuts to Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader.
