We haven't even seen the BlackBerry Storm 2 introduced and already, there is talk of a Storm 3 being sold in the UK before Christmas. The Storm 3 is the model currently code-named "Mr.T" and is expected to offer a high-resolution touchscreen with a sliding landscape QWERTY keyboard. It apparently would be the answer for those 'Berry fans who like the Storm's capacitive touchscreen, but are not happy with the clicking SurePress virtual QWERTY now found on the device. Not much more is known about "Mr. T" for the moment, and in the States, Verizon is moving closer to the launch of the Storm 2. Business customers were supposed to be able to order the sequel model today, but a call to Verizon Wireless proved that to be incorrect. A broader launch of the device is expected on October 14th, but neither RIM nor Verizon has actually introduced the phone to the public yet.

And you clearly did not read the article. the article stated that that was not a picture of the storm 3 just a picture to give an idea of what it would look like.

You clearly did not understand what they are saying when they say there is no device like this in existence. BlackBerry hasn't even come close to announcing the Storm 2 yet and Phone Arena is yapping on about a Storm 3. Utterly stupid.

And just to follow up, how would Phone Arena know what the the first ever slider BlackBerry would look like again? Oh wait, they wouldn't now would they?

This is too good to be true, imagine how those BB Storm users would feel, its like launching another new iPhone after 2 months from the release date, imagine how the fanbois or BB user would feel.

I hope that Palm makes a Pre-like device similar to this with a larger screen and a landscape sliding keyboard. Landscape keyboard are so much easier to use.

I agree with the larger screen but i just wish the next version of the pre doesnt have an actual keyboard and no stupid unnecessary button

the storm 2 is still being tested for final firmware....i doubt you'll see this anytime in october...
