BlackBerry Curve 8900 hits T-Mobile web site
With the official February 11th release date creeping up on us (January 19th for business customers), T-Mobile has decided to put the BlackBerry Curve 8900 up on its web site. You can take a gander at the photo of the thinnest, lightest BlackBerry ever endowed with a QWERTY keyboard, but don't drool all over your current device. While the new Curve will not run on T-Mobile's 3G network, it does offer Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3.2 MP camera. It looks like T-Mobile will not be the only U.S. carrier offering the new model. At the CES last week, RIM showed off a BlackBerry Curve 8900 dressed up with the AT&T logo. No release date has been announced, but it looks like Ma Bell wants the opportunity to sell the updated version of one of its best selling handsets even though the new version will not have 3G capabilities. Are you heading to the T-Mobile site to gaze at the phone until you can actually buy one?
