Android 4.4.2 update now available to LG G2 users on AT&T

Android 4.4.2 update now available to LG G2 users on AT&T
AT&T is pulling all the stops on a Sunday afternoon, also pushing out an update to the LG G2 (model D800). Customers should begin receiving notification to upgrade to Android 4.4.2 KitKat today.  The timing is perfect too.

If you do not get the notification, you can try and pull it by going to settings >> about phone (under general) >> software update >> update now. If you checked within the last 24 hours though, you will have to wait.

The update to Android 4.4.2 provides some restyled status and navigation bars and a new full-screen mode. The LG G2’s already excellent battery performance will be further improved through more efficient playing of media and support for battery saving location mode.

AT&T notes that overall speed should increase up to 17%, similar to what LG noted in a video a little while ago. Printing from the cloud is supported and “Knock On” is improved as well. The responsiveness is going to be better.

Let us know how the update goes for you. Are the improvements noticeable?

Here's my initial thoughts. Took about 10 min overall.
I've rebooted a couple times, just for the sake of measuring boot up times. Which is longer now, not by much but longer.
The dam GPS isn't coming on every time I make call, a call comes in, even when you you plug it in the charger GPS would come on for a second. Carrier IQ, I know. Not sure if it's still on this phone.
Chrome is fast. Much faster.
Apps open quicker, much quicker.
Beats and Isis is now loaded, which you can disable by the way.
Knock on and off...SO MUCH BETTER!!
The entire phone just feels so fast, not that it wasn't before, but almost instant.
The camera, OMG. So much faster, and the picture detail...especially in low light seems better.
Ok so here's a couple initial POSSIBLE negatives, I've got to test further.
Wifi signal seems weaker. As does the cell and data..
I've scored over 35,000 on AnTuTu.. Now 28,000.. But we all know the story with synthetic benchmarks...

Status bar color change/transparent without root for alternative launchers is very nice.

Settings button moved to a more appropriate area, GPS fixes will help battery even more...

I'd say the best phone out right now just got better(Sold my note 3 last week! Great phone but was not impressed).

Hi all.
I updated my LG g2 yesterday and ever since, my mobile network doesn't work for the internet. Is anyone else having this problem? I have checked the settings, tried to manually and automatically select carriers, switched data enabling on and off, etc. The WiFi works fine, just not the mobile internet and it was working before the update.
Cheers!
