AT&T officially announces the LG ARENA

In an attempt to continue its legacy as one of their most popular sold phones around the world, LG has finally joined forces with AT&T to release the LG ARENA. Considering it has been on the overseas markets for quite some time, while managing to sell over 5 million units since last summer, the LG ARENA finally makes its grand entrance into the US market that's still starved for more S-Class based handsets from the Korean based manufacturer. You can expect to see the phone in AT&T stores starting February 26 and will feature Mobile TV service courtesy of FLOV TV. For those that will be interested in the LG ARENA, expect to pay up $199.99 after all the mail-in-rebates are concerned if you plan on ponying up to this handset. It may seem quite steep for a handset that's been making its rounds for some time already; especially when you look at the LG eXpo that packs their S-Class interface into the Windows Mobile platform. If having to pay monthly for a smartphone data plan isn't your kind of thing, then the LG ARENA may best suit your needs for now.
