8GB iPhone 3GS rumor comes back from the dead
Hey, guess what – there might still be a chance that the rumored 8GB iPhone 3GS is coming! Gizmodo informs that a Rogers employee has sent them a screenshot of the Canadian carrier’s Hardware Upgrade Sales Flow system that clearly depicts an 8GB version of the iPhone 3GS, available both with and without a data plan. The first listing is said to show the promo price of the 3GS with a data plan, which is the same as the one of the 8GB 3G variant - $99. However, customers get a $25 discount, so the final price should be $74. The same goes for the no-data-plan version – customers get a $25 discount, resulting in a final price of $274.

Is an 8GB iPhone 3GS really coming? If it is, is it going to be available from other carriers as well? So many questions remain to be answered.

whats weird is that the 8GB 3G ends up on AT&T's EOL(End of Life) price list.

I don't know who's correct, but another user posted on an alternate forum the 8gb was a type-o which has now been corrected.
