You want that "everything" plan but it doesn't cover "one more thing".

What are you guys complaining about Qik's video chat is not a feature of the EVO 4G or a Sprint service It's just an app from a third party. No surprise they'll try to make money from. Any Android phone can download it. They did a demo on this app on the EVO because it's the first Android with the front facing camer

who is the idiot at sprint that's trying to shoot himself in the foot???...they're going to nickel & dime their way out of a winner

Real man of genius.+1 to you Mr. Noticer of the crappy plans guy. Nickel and diming is there fortune to fame, why do you think boost, there partner company, talks about having no hidden fees or contracts, their talking about Sprint.

Sprint isn't charging for chat qik is. Only a sucker would pay when you can use other video chat apps for free.

True but the hosers are still out there bitching about Verizon data plans, sucking on Sprints big gulp everything plan....now it seems, inevitabley, they once again are choking on Sprints bull shit. Have fun with that ride down the shitter. Great phone poor service, customer service, and every other service. Ill pay Sprint 5 dollars a month to have a front facing camera kiss my bahookie .

first of all its a 3rd party app, sprint isn't charging you qik is, is an option, you dont have to get it. 2nd, service w/ sprint is great, and customer service is just like any other service providers.

It says it is at industry average, which is more than AT&T can say, and hasn't it been on the increase like 2 years running?? AND the $85.00 per month (plus premium data & qik [if i wanted to waste money on qik, when theres other apps and skype for android coming out by 2011]) is still less than the $129.98 per month at Verizon ($69.99 voice; $30 Smartphone data; $9.99 GPS; $20 messaging... and a $350 termination fee if I'm tired of the raping every month) that people blow on their Droid (registered trademark of Lucas Films and Lucas Arts!). That's enough customer service for me! If I wanted to pay for the UNLIMITED mobile Hotspot (3g/4g) AND insurance it comes out to roughly $125 per month with Sprint... AND 4G NOW! haha and they have some nice monthly discounts. They'll BUY BACK your droid at register VZWtrainer! = )

Well, considering that Sprint partly piggybacks on Verizons network, wouldn't that mean Verizon sucks also?

In regards to jbroots3, I like your style. If you do the math and just do the basic 450 everthing data with the EVO, that's like $50 a month I saved or $600 year by not being on VZW. So with the $1200 I saved being in my 2yr contract with Sprint and having a kick a$$ phone, maybe I'll just through a kick a$$ party with a bunch of booze and invite everyone there. There is one kick though, if your user name is PapaJay224 it's a $5 cover and considering he probably makes out with VZW he prob won't have enough money from how much his phone bills are... Don't worry though, we won't charge his girl-friend.

yeah, this isnt a charge from sprint at all. i also dont quite believe this story since apps are paid for via google, not paypal

This is an application that is thru QIK, not sprint. If any of you will pay attention, there are only a few Sprint apps, such as Sprint TV and Sprint Football Live, all other apps are 3rd party and not supported. QIK is the first to offer an app in which you can use the Front Facing Camera. Why don't you just man up and develop your own app and offer it for free. Or just email QIK and tell them how unfair they're being for charging for THIER APP

Who wants video chat anyways? I don't foresee a real demand for this right now.

Who cares I'll just use fring! LOL QIK is dead to me...a moot issue. Time to get nickle and dimed over a new phone! The idea is we're being charged for premium 4 g whether it works or not, and each feature of the phone is becoming a nickle and dime add on cost! Whats the benefit of paying more and more and more for a basic phone feature to satisfy stock holders. How about giving good service for a good phone to start before raising fees.
