iPhone Elevation Dock breaks Kickstarter funding record, raises nearly a million
The iPhone Elevation Dock is pretty unique - in a world full of iPhone cases, stands and mounts it managed to raise nearly $1 million and become the most successful product on Kickstarter. Created by Casey Hopkins, the iPhone Elevation Dock centers around a simple idea - dock your iPhone and undock it easily and quickly, without having to vigorously shake it.

In addition it’s stylish in the best tradition of Apple design - it uses solid aluminum so it would definitely sit nicely along with your Mac machine.

The Elevation Dock just hours ago surpassed the LunaTik iPod nano watch, which managed to raise $942,578.

The minimal sum to back the dock and get one stands at $59.99, and is much less than the $90 retail price once mass production kicks off. Did you get one and do you like it?

That's a really cool dock.. but seriously.. $90??? It would be just as cool in shiny white or black plastic for $20.

Right. You won't see me with one. I'm perfectly fine with buying the regular dock and just pulling it out (not overly dramatic like how they were doing in the vid trying to shake it off) or even just charge it without a dock at all.
