The Samsung S5510 is a clamshell phone with external PMOLED display
The external PMOLED (passive-matrix OLED) display is one of the things we do like about clamshell handsets, because the manufacturers give them that eye-catchy, mirror-like property that makes the devices look really appealing and stylish. Other cell phones featuring the same technology are the Nokia 6600 Fold and Sony Ericsson Z610. The still unannounced Samsung S5510 will join their ranks and the interesting thing is the handset has already been thoroughly reviewed by Mobile-Review. Judging by what the website says, the S5510 will be a pretty standard, mainstream phone coming with 2.1-inch main display with QVGA resolution, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, microSD slot and simplified interface. The list of disadvantages includes the lack of 3.5mm jack and relatively high price tag that, according to the source, will be around 200 EUR. The Samsung S5510 is expected to hit the shelves at the beginning of November.
