Take a gamble using an app to find the hang time of your iPhone

Say that we didn't warn you ahead of time. There is an app available for 99 cents on the App Store for iPhone users who want to take some serious risk in attempting to see how long their handset can be thrown in the air. Fittingly enough, it's called HangTime and uses the accelerometer to measure the hang time of your throw. So far the one brave soul who attempted this, Dave Hufnagel, managed to record 3.72 seconds which is 50 percent longer than what the second place holder did at 2.25 seconds. Interestingly enough, this app took more than eight months to be approved. Gee, I wonder why? So if you're looking to become the new record holder, give this app a try. And to repeat ourselves again, just don't say that we didn't warn you.
