T-Mobile Usa announced the nationwide availability of the SideKick device. The highly anticipated T-Mobile Sidekick is a all-in-one device that lets customers surf the Web, send and receive email, chat using AOL® Instant Messenger™ (AIM®) service, play fun games, take and e-mail mobile snapshots and talk it up with friends and family. The T-Mobile Sidekick is the first commercial delivery of Danger, Inc.'s hiptop™ Wireless Solution, awarded Best of Show winner at the 2002 Consumer Electronics Show in the PDA, Handheld and Mobile Wireless category and first runner up for Overall Best of Show.
