Samsung Galaxy Home Mini smart speaker is one step closer to launch
We've already seen Samsung's Galaxy Home smart speaker, but the South Korean giant has been postponing the launch of the device for more than a year now. Apparently, the company wants to make sure that the smart speaker offers the best possible experience, so it's taking the time to further polish the product before prime time.

Although we don't have a release timeframe yet, Samsung fans waiting to get their hands on the smart speaker will be pleased to know that the Galaxy Home Mini, another smart speaker in the works at the South Korean giant, is one step closer to launch.

Samsung kicked off the Beta Program for Galaxy Home Mini in South Korea, TizenHelp reports, which means the smart speaker is no longer being prototyped. Those interested to test the smart speaker can enroll in the program, which runs from August 28 through September 1.

If you live in South Korea and want to try out the Galaxy Home Mini, you must use the Samsung Members app to enroll in the beta program. If everything goes well, Samsung might launch its smart speaker this year, although that's just a guess.
