Cingular launches D807 and D407 Samsung phones
The SGH-D807 was showcased at the CES 2006 show in January with the Cingular branding on it, which prompted us to mark it as Coming soon. It is slim slider quad-band phone; its keypad resembles the one of the A900 Blade and it has 1.3-megapixel camera on its back. D807's memory is expanded with microSD cards, same as the T809 slider that is currently available with T-Mobile. As a mid-level device it is priced at $180 with a 2-year contract, while the T809 is $150 with T-Mobile.

Cingular's webpage also show the new Samsung SGH-D407, which was showcased at the CTIA show in April. It is also a quad-band GSM unit but in clamshell design with external antenna, and features VGA camera and PTT with dedicated keys. D407 also packs EDGE data and Bluetooth, and is available for $120 with a contract.
