"Background images is important? Really? Try paying people just by texting them the amount - appl cash is built in - how many apps can do that?
come on man, don’t prove the stereotype that Android people only worry about visual eyecandy. There are functions that I simply can’t live without that are way more important than background images."
Okay, maybe not criticized, but definitely judged, which is still a negative treatment. Matthew 7:1 exists for a reason.
Remember that time you criticized me for looking forward to being able to add backgrounds to iMessage chats, yet above you said "I love the update. Liquid Glass alone is enough to win me over"? Be careful when trying to call people out. The internet never forgets. 😂
I see what you’re saying. I’m just saying that in the context of the article that says many are searching to downgrade to iOS 18. Which I find the opposite - that besides the functional upgrades and features - I would have been happy with the minimum priority such as the visual aspect to stay with iOS 26.
I wholeheartedly agree with Mat 7:1 and appreciate you referring to that. But when I said don’t prove the stereotype - I was doing the opposite. The stereotype isn’t my own - that’s why it’s called a stereotype because in the changing icons, fonts and moving wallpapers were the rage that’s going to make any Android an “iPhone killer”. My respect grew a little for you for calling me out and reference.
what I try not to do is name calling and blatant criticism of choice by individuals. I’ll admit that if you search far enough - I do loos my cool with individuals.
I don't hate Apple but I can't stand Apple fanboys who think Iphone is prefect. Remember when they defended the giant bezels and home button? Remember when they claimed Android phones were to big and big phones wouldnt fit in their pants. Remember how they hated customization and "nobody wants to tinker with their iphone it just works" until they slowly started getting drip fed customization and now they have time to tinker. More recently remember how 60hz screens were fine and "nobody could even tell the difference"? They'll hate any feature Android has until Apple finally adopts it then suddenly they don't hate it. Ultimate hypocrites.

I've said it time & time again here since having an iPhone for 3 years: my top 2 reasons for getting an iPhone was to become more familiar with iOS & to prove to fanboys that the iPhone's not perfect.
Everything else in your comment is 100% spot on, and add ultrawide cameras as well because the ultrawide FFC on the 17's are all the rave right now.
I remember in 2018 when I imported my 1st Chinese phone the P20 pro the first phone with night mode arguing online with Apple fans who claimed it was a gimmick become "who takes photos st night?" 🤣 I bet Apple could launch a phone with no camera or screen and some would defend it
Hell nah! 🤣 5 years before you got that phone when I worked at the AT&T store I would take pics of the same images in natural sunlight, indoors with light & in low light of the stock room with all the phones we sold & made a folder for them. A lot of my sales were based on those sample pics & some of the concerns were the low light pics of the iPhone (the 5s) compared to the others. That should let them know how long people have been interested in low light quality.
