A 3.2GB file isn't a security update. Who's ignorant now??

Here is what is specifically in this patch.

You show your ignorance and so does the writers as all updates tell you what is in them before you install. The patch specifically says it is patching security and other issues. It is a comprehensive update which means it jas several fixes in the patch rolled together.

Maybe you should fact check before you call someone out, almighty ignorant one.

A file size tells you nothing because if the patching contains several fixes as this one does, the file size will increase.

The September 1, 2025, security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is available in various regions as part of the broader One UI 8 (Android 16) update rollout and includes fixes for critical vulnerabilities, enhancing system security and stability. This is the final major operating system update for the Galaxy S22 lineup, delivering a comprehensive suite of security patches to protect devices from emerging threats.

What the September 1, 2025 Update Includes

  • Samsung and Google Security Patches:
  • The update incorporates fixes for critical, high, and moderate vulnerabilities from both Google and Samsung, addressing issues like improper access control in One UI Home and potential arbitrary code execution flaws.
  • Enhanced Security:
  • The update strengthens your device's security by patching vulnerabilities that could allow unauthorized access to sensitive information or device control.
  • System Stability:
  • Beyond security, the update also aims to improve the overall stability and reliability of the system.
  • One UI 8:
  • For many users, this security update also serves as the beginning of the One UI 8 rollout, the final major OS update based on Android 16, for the Galaxy S22 series.

Now who is ignorance, obviously you and the person who liked your post. A file size means nothing. You would need to know what is being fixed. Also the S22 hasn't had a patch update in quite awhile, which means that would also contribute to file size.

I was smart enough to Google details. Guess we know who is ignorant now.

"The last major update for Galaxy S22 devices skips all the cool features."

Why even provide the update if it offers no significant improvements or the cool features ? I understand that it is intended to throw sand in the FAN GIRLS eyes. Got it. #Just Saying.

Because its a security patch dummy. It isnt a feature update. Herevare the facts of the patch:

I have to like this comment because you know if Apple pulled this stunt, the numerous Samsung fangirls here would be relentlessly mocking them.

False. Again you show total ignorance if you think anyone file size tells you anything.

If you just Google the security patch, it tells you exactly what is in the patch. The writer plainly stated it was a security patch.

A security update and a feature update cant be rolled together sometimes, but rarely. Next time, just Google the patch and you can read the details of it.

Do you even have an S22? If you do an you download the patch, before you install it, the info of what the patch contains is in the patches info.

Obviously the ignorant one here is you because you obviously don't know the difference between a "security patch" vs a "feature update".

There was no stunt pulled here. You're just a Samsung hating shill, just like the POS who arse you're kissing so hard.

Which is why I'm calling you both out.

When iOS has cumulative security updates, those files are large in size.

If you Google'd the update, in case you don't have an S22; the details of the patch are explained.

But because you are a fool and this is your measly attempt to attack Samsung, like all you shills do; you clouded your brain from doing the obviously.

Next time douchebag, Google the details and then you won't sound like a hating shill like you obviously are.
