The Note 20 Ultra was peak Samsung

Personally having both owned the 10 Plus and the 20 Ultra feel that the 10 Plus was over all peak Samsung but the 20 Ultra was a close ringer.

The new Exynos looks promising, and we already know the new Mediatek chip is a winner... but it's Snapdragon or nothing for me and the reason is quite simple: drivers + third party GPU drivers support + compatibility.

Emulators are the reason. Many of them won't work well or even run on Exynos and Mediatek chips, and I play retro games all the time. Many of the emulators I use require a Snapdragon SoC

If Samsung decides to raise the prices again I'm telling you with the iPhone being as good as it is this year they'll have so many people switch it will hurt them badly. The s25U that I own wasn't worth the $1300 neither is the S26U. Hell when I saw the BASE iPhone 17 j felt like I really messed up buying the s25U. No way I'll make the same mistake twice. I'm not upgrading anytime soon but when I do I want to know my favorite brand still has my back.

Very few people switch from Android to the iPhone in the grand scheme of things, because of iOS

People keep giving samsung passes iphone 17 pro max same specs as s25u just brighter screen faster cpu bigger battery faster wireless charging and 17 pro max 256gb model is $1199.00 while the inferior s25u is $1299.00 as of today samsung is inferior except in the price.

1) You're comparing 2 phones from different generations. The iPhone 17 will need to be compared to the S26 in terms of hardware and specifications

2) Many Samsung users are buying/choosing that brand for the full package and the ecosystem (hardware + One UI). Hardware alone is not enough if they don't enjoy using iOS

Genuine question, what is so bad about the s21u exynos? I have the s21u and it has proven to be a great phone for me, able to mutlitask really well with the 16gb ram, plenty of storage, able to play graphics intensive games, decent video and camera(comparable to the newer samsungs and iphone up until recently), ok battery life(after 4-5 years its barely degraded). Is there anything major that i missed(i dont know about these things but genuinely want ro learn

I suppose if you owned a 30-yo Honda civic, and that was the only car you had ever driven you might feel like it's a fully capable car. It can take you where you want to go, it can go freeway speeds, it gets good gas milage, and it will last forever.

Then you go to the dealership and test drive a C8 Corvette and realize there are other types of cars in this world.
