The Note 20 Ultra was peak Samsung

I have been advocating for this for years, and it is the reason why I have not owned a Samsung device after the note 20 until now. The Fold 7, which I rarely use, is my current device. I owned every note since the 2 until the 20 and a few s series along with he notes after the note 20 i left to asus because samsung has just lost its way. Same statement you just made i made 4 years ago.

I have been a happy Samsung Note/Galaxy user since the beginning. It seems like the company started missing a beat after the S23U, I do not think they are listening to the customer on the Ultra phones. I had read that the S Pen may have been on the chopping block in favor of a slimmer phone at one point. Apparently, Samsung is getting rid of the blue tooth capabilities in the S Pen for the S26U, as it did in the S25U. I think Samsung needs to check their customer base. I have always wanted the following in no particular order: Big and Beautiful Screen, Massive Processing Power, S Pen, Storage Capacity, Best Camera Available on the market for the phone, a battery that lasts all day, made from durable materials, ie glass and frame. Herer's what I don't care about: Having the thinnest phone on the market, a built in magnet for charging. I expect the price to be comparable to the top of the line iphone if not better but I am willing to pay for the best.

Despite my fondness for the Fold 7, I must express my dissatisfaction with the operating system’s reliability. One of the primary reasons I am unable to fully utilize the device is its frequent inaccuracies.

To illustrate this, let me recount an incident involving a group of friends and motorcycles. During a weekly outing, If i were to have an accident where I sustained an injury. In such a situation, my helmet, equipped with the Cardo Packtalk Pro, would automatically contact the police and emergency contacts, providing the precise location using the phone’s GPS. However, I have encountered numerous instances where the device’s accuracy has been compromised.

I have tested the Fold 7 in various settings, including my home, workplace, and different cities, without success. The device consistently misjudges my location by several towns. Similarly, my friend NUNOB512 also experienced similar issues during a recent test at his residence.

While Siri consistently provides accurate information, I find Google devices to be unreliable in this regard.

If i ever had a issue they would never find me if i use google devices.

Yeah, that's definitely an issue!

If only Apple could make a decent sized fold, perhaps their version 2 may be my next upgrade...

If Huawei, Xiaomi and a couple others were allowed in the USA with google play store, you'd see the price on Google & Samsung phones DROP.

I loved Huawei phones, Mate 9 was the last, but no play store, no sell. I have multiple apps that I use for work.

I don't know about Xiaomi, they've been copying Apple since day 1; no originality! Seems like they just copy Apple's styling and add Android SMH!

I can't buy version 1, I'm sorry, but I already know how this is going to turn out...😁

  • Narrow screens
  • Super high price
  • Bugs with software transitioning from open to close and back to open screens
  • Hardware defects

Regrettably, the description you provided pertains to the Note series and Samsung’s decision to discontinue them.

If Samsung decides to raise the prices again I'm telling you with the iPhone being as good as it is this year they'll have so many people switch it will hurt them badly. The s25U that I own wasn't worth the $1300 neither is the S26U. Hell when I saw the BASE iPhone 17 j felt like I really messed up buying the s25U. No way I'll make the same mistake twice. I'm not upgrading anytime soon but when I do I want to know my favorite brand still has my back.

I'll probably switch to iphone if the stupid no side loading can't be undone somehow

Exynos = NO buy

One time was enough S21u.

No more

Genuine question, what is so bad about the s21u exynos? I have the s21u and it has proven to be a great phone for me, able to mutlitask really well with the 16gb ram, plenty of storage, able to play graphics intensive games, decent video and camera(comparable to the newer samsungs and iphone up until recently), ok battery life(after 4-5 years its barely degraded). Is there anything major that i missed(i dont know about these things but genuinely want ro learn
