I am so tired of this camera fetish related to phones. It's c a phone with a camera not a camera that happens to make calls. If you want framable studio quality photos, use an SLR. There is not a phone being manufactured today that can come close to a good SLR for photo quality. All a camera phone is good for is a convenient snapper for taking opportunistic shots and most all high end phones these days do a great job at this. I'm sure several will loose their minds at my comments but i just don't care.

Phone cameras and professional cameras are built for totally different purposes. A phone camera is designed to be dead simple you just point, tap, and you’ve got a decent photo. A professional camera, on the other hand, takes actual skill and technique to get the best results.

In good lighting, like broad daylight, the difference between the two can be surprisingly small. Modern phones do a ton of heavy lifting behind the scenes with software tricks, so the average person won’t notice much of a gap. Where pro cameras really shine is in tougher situations low light, fast moving subjects, or when you want specific creative effects. But that’s also where you need to know what you’re doing, otherwise the results can look worse than what a phone gives you automatically.

Nothing beats the convenience and ease of a phone camera for everyday use. It’s not 2010 anymore smartphone tech has advanced so much that for most people, most of the time, the phone in your pocket is all you really need.

It’s like arguing you can get better lap times in a GT3 RS over a 911 turbo. Highly dependent on the driver, and the 911 is just a better everyday vehicle than a dedicated track car.

I don't dissagree with you and I said "All a camera phone is good for is a convenient snapper for taking opportunistic shots" which i think is kind of your point. My point is that most phone cameras today take better photos than SLRs did 10 years ago so all this ego fueled "my camera is better than your camera so your phone sucks" is tiresome. Especially when posters call people Android, Samsung and/or Apple fan girls, which is sexist and offensive, just because they have a different opinion. We have become a world society thar loves to sit behind a keyboard and fling insults just for fun. Can't we just respect each other's opinions without trying to act like a cowardly bully?

Android fan girls frequently refer to iPhone users as “Isheep.” This prompted my response. While not all Android users engage in such behavior, it is prevalent among the fan girls who engage in derogatory remarks and subsequently have their brands replicate Apple’s products. If you feel offended, it is your responsibility to address it. I did not explicitly call you out, but if you believe you require attention, you now have it. It is important to remember that Android fan girls were the first to use the term “Isheep” to refer to iPhone users, so my response was a direct counter to their foolishness. Now you should take your own advice and get a life you here crying about what i say it must hit a nerve meaning your one of them fangirls calling iphone users isheep.

You are right that using the term Isheep is derogatory and belittling but two wrongs dont make a right. Someone has to be the bigger person . You cant control what other people say or do but your conduct is your responsibility and a direct reflection of the type of person you are.

While correcting two wrongs does not make a right, this approach may serve as a learning opportunity. Notably, some individuals, particularly here, exhibit a tendency to make hasty judgments without sufficient consideration. Observe the S26 lineup; it closely resembles the iPhone, including rounded edges and a rear camera island. From other sources, it is anticipated that Samsung will revert to using aluminum, similar to Apple. It remains to be seen whether these uninformed Android users will engage in the same negative rhetoric towards Samsung as they did towards Apple.

Name calling and sexist shaming is never the proper way to execute a "learning experience ". Apple people are no smarter or better than Android people and likewise Android people are no smarter or better than Apple people. The Isheep/Fangirls monikers are petty and childish and show a lack of human dignity. Who the heck cares who copied who. Both sides could argue this factually and the reality is it really is such a ridiculously unimportant fact. With all the death, hunger and suffering in the world today people are fighting over a simple electronic communication device. It's just a phone and not a God to be worshiped.

Don't act so high and mighty being here commenting about how you're above it all. Tells us otherwise

Might not be here much longer. I can't with the Apple knob slobbing from some of the "journalists" here they don't even try to be objective.
