FaceID not working is wild, I would have lost my mind, *knocks on wood* mine is still working on my 15 Pro Max, hoping I don’t face this issue when I get my 17 Pro Max.

Due to multiple reported issues with One UI 8, including a critical bug with the "Do Not Disturb" feature, Samsung will release One UI 8.5 to address these problems. In contrast to its usual practice of releasing point updates (e.g., 8.1), Samsung is reportedly skipping directly to 8.5 because of the extent of the issues found in the beta and initial stable rollouts.

Yes, the claim that Samsung's One UI is "full of bugs" is partially true, as some users report recurring issues, particularly after major updates like One UI 7 and 8, which can include problems with cameras, performance, Wi-Fi, and the user interface. While Samsung releases updates to fix these problems, new bugs can also be introduced in subsequent releases, a common issue in complex software. To troubleshoot issues, users can try restarting their device, checking for app updates, clearing the cache for specific apps like One UI Home, and using the Samsung Members app to report bugs.

What does that have yo do with the subject of this article? Kind of a non sequitur dont you think. I dont think the bugs is IOS 26 are any big deal as their is such pressure to get software updates out these days that both alpha and beta testing procedures get short cut and that is the inevitable result. No big deal for One UI 8 either. You are really overly defensive of Apple and always seem to target Samsung to deflect. Hey, I get it. You hate Samsung. Why dont you just sell your fold, cuddle your beloved Apple ecosystem and stop vomiting negative post at every opportunity on Samsung and/or Android. Be the bigger person.

By the way. I have OneUI 8 on my S25 Ultra with no issues. I think you'll find the issues you see on Google AI are from Beta 4 and not on the full release.

Again you sound so foolish. All software has bugs whether they are apparent to you or not.

Apple has plenty ios issues they have never fixed. While you write here talking about another oem.

Apple might fix this, but i bet something else breaks, because they always do this.

It's funny how Android has less issues yet it is designed to working on thousands of products and Apple can't get it right for just one.

You are so foolish and uneducated to tech facts. You should shutup.

This DEI problem affects so many other places. They're doing this in armies as well. I follow Linux news and one source is Brian Lunduke. Red Hat and Debian are too heavy in social justice nonsense now Debian says they have problems lol

You dont even know what DEI actually mean.

I saw that silver Pro Max in person yesterday at Best Buy. Definitely the best color IMO. When those of us on employee lines can finally get it, it's going to be between the silver Pro or the blue one; and I'm only considering that because 2 of my good friends went with it, so if get a blue one we can be the iPhone 17th Street crips. 🤣

FYI, no issues with FaceID on my 14 Pro Max running iOS26 since day one.
