Virgin Mobile to unveil a new Totally Unlimited plan and a customer support program
Virgin Mobile has come up with a new Totally Unlimited prepaid calling plan at a monthly price of $49.99. It includes unlimited talk minutes and no roaming charges. You can also add unlimited text and messaging for another $10 a month.  The carrier intends to launch the new offer on April 15, but what comes as a nice surprise is Virgin’s new customer support initiative. Every customer that signs for the carrier’s monthly plans, including Totally Unlimited and Texture’s Delight (which also starts on April 15), will be automatically enrolled in the Pink Slip Protection program. This means that if you become a new customer of Virgin Mobile, once you have been such for at least two months, the company would cover the costs of your monthly plan, including taxes and surcharges, for up to three months, in case you lose your job . All you’ll need to do is present a proof of eligibility for state unemployment benefits. Customer-centric programs have always appealed to us. Bravo, Virgin! Still, we recommend that you visit the carrier’s official site for more details, as some conditions and restrictions would also apply.

More details about Pink Slip Protection will be available here, starting April 15.
