Verizon VoLTE and Video call over LTE demo with the LG Revolution
Over the last 3 days we reported to you everything worth reporting from MWC, and we couldn't resist the temptation to test what may prove to be the next standards in voice and video calling on mobile devices - Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Video call over LTE, respectively.

As you can see in the video below, we grabbed two LG Revolution units - this handset is touted as the first Verizon gadget to support VoLTE and Video call over LTE - and tried out how these features work.

Sadly, it's unlikely that these two high-quality services will see commercial deployment before 2012 (which actually makes the Revolution's support for it "a bit" useless), and yet it's well worth it to see this sneak peek and bring the future closer to you.

Dang! Did u see how fast the call connected? Not only is data going to be faster, looks like calls connect lightning fast. Video call was great too. I can't wait till LTE is more streamlined.

i think all these new phones are nice and all- but the price tag kills me. for over $200 a month for 3 crappy phones you would seriously think i deserve some kind of "credit" (awesome patronage!)
