The Weather Channel overhauls its iPhone app: the bad weather forecast looks better now

The Weather Channel is probably one of the most popular places to check for the most comprehensive weather forecast, but even if it’s all rain, gloom and doom, it now looks better than before as the iPhone The Weather Channel app got overhauled. The major redesign comes after the channel introduced its iPad applications and changed the looks of its web page, in a bigger effort by TWC to unify its digital presence.
The new looks feature bigger fonts, and it’s actually very easy to get the essential info on the first look. The UI is even friendlier to the touch, and the backgrounds illustrate the weather outside with a picture reminding of HTC Sense.
Also, the app brings automatic weather updates, and you can save in additional locations and expand for a detailed version of the forecast. So overall, the app seems like a big step forward from the previous version - it’s free, so it wouldn’t hurt to check it out yourself below.

Wow, very different than the old version! I hated how you had to slide the bottom black thing to go to all the sections of the app. That was really annoying!
Just bring it to Android and WP!
