Rogers is also down in selling the BlackBerry Bold 9780 as well?
It's been making its rounds for the better portion of the last year, but the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is still making some decent waves in RIM's camp thanks to its solid performance and new paint job. With that in mind, it would only be inevitable before its successor would peep its head around the corner sporting some improved internals and newer software experience.

It appears though that another Canadian carrier will soon be offering the unannounced BlackBerry Bold 9780 a bit after TELUS launches their version. Reports hint that Rogers will be selling the Bold 9780 starting on October 27th – which is still a bit later than the October 21st date that TELUS is issuing with the handset. As for pricing, customers will need to shell out $149.99 for the handsets with their signature on a 3-year contract. Sure it's lengthy, but it's the norm for Canadian consumers at this point.

Looking closer at the upcoming smartphone, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 doesn't stray from the design of its predecessor, but the hardware under the hood is somewhat improved. It'll feature BlackBerry OS 6, 480 x 360 display resolution, 5-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G.
