RadioShack and T-Mobile announces new partnership
RadioShack is adding an additional wireless carrier to their arsenal to provide their customers more variety. T-Mobile USA and RadioShack announced a partnership that will place the number four wireless carrier into the 4,450 RadioShack retail stores across the country. This move exemplifies T-Mobile's presence in obtaining market share from their competitors. Customers shopping in RadioShack stores now have their choice of AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile to choose from for their mobile phone requirements. The over 4,000 stores is no small number when you consider how T-Mobile will be upfront and on the same playing field with their competitors. You'll start seeing phones being sold there starting August 19. Although there is some wait in the mean time, it's been worth the wait and a long time coming for RadioShack.

Why hasn't there been a partnership with Verizon and Radio Shack?

Not enough of a Verizon controlled environment.
