New ad for Google Nexus 7 features budding astronaut and Curious George

Take a little girl who wants to grow up to be an astronaut, add Curious George, a video chat from grandma and a patient and understanding Mom and you have the new ad for the Google Nexus 7 tablet. The tag line "The Playground is Open" captures the message of the spot which is that the Google Nexus 7 is great for kids. And with the $199 price for the 8GB model, which should be enough storage for even the next Sally Ride.
You might recall that the first television ad for the ASUS built tablet revolved around a camp out that turned out to take place right in the camper's back yard. There is one very Apple-like moment in the commercial which is when the little girl uses Google Now and you could almost hear her asking the same question to Apple's voice activated personal assistant.

Very cute and effective. It is as good or better than the dad/son comercial.
