Middle of the road Sony Ericsson Equinox to debut October 28 for T-Mobile

Die hard Sony Ericsson fans might not particularly be too pumped up about another flip handset to debut on T-Mobile's lineup, but the Sony Ericsson Equinox is nonetheless a middle of the road device. It may not be the last SE Windows Mobile based XPERIA X2 or the Android powered X3, but it's on track to launch October 28. It's better to come out now than never at all – this was first mentioned back in early May. Some of its highlights are the 3.2-megapixel camera and 2.2”LCD screen with QVGA resolution. The overall specs may not be something worth boasting about, but at least it pays homage to the traditional flip handsets that have been declining in style. We'll see if the Equinox can muster up some staying power to win over consumers as they come into stores to shop.
