LG Intuition's upcoming software update doesn't contain Jelly Bean

One exciting new feature added is a split view for email. That certainly comes in handy on a large screened device like the LG Intuition. After the update, users will be able to add messages as an attachment while forwarding a message via Sync and Connect. In the category of enhancements, the speakerphone parameters "have been tuned" to provide better sound quality to the voices. And considering that not too many users are going to be walking around with the LG Intuition glued to their ears, the speakerphone is a vital part of the device. A bug that had users receiving the same text message multiple times has been fixed and the Amazon Appstore has been added to the phone. Removed from the model are Color and Verizon VCast.
Some minor housekeeping is taken care of with the update as the Compass Mode has been improved for smoother navigation, Google Message Security has been updated to ICS R7 and Books 2.6.31 includes a dictionary, translation, "Places" info cards and allows a user to highlight notes. Finally, when using Setup Wizard, you can link a Google+ account without a break.
Verizon wants you to know that depending on how fast the network is running, it will take you 15 to 25 minutes to download the update, which weighs in at 204.5MB. It will take another 15 to 25 minutes to install the update, during which time you will be unable to make or take any calls. If your screen indicates that the update has arrived, all you need to do is follow the directions on the screen and tap Begin Downloading. Once that is complete, tap on Apply Update and the update will be complete. If the update has not appeared on your screen, you can try to see if it is available manually by going from Menu Key>Settings>About Phone>Software Updates>Check for Updates.

The only reason people tend to avoid LG and prefer samsung... NO updates.

You are very right. It is the only reason I know of that LG is not doing well in the android world.

Did anyone even buy this phone? Isn't it almost a complete flop?

i just updated my intuition and it took out the stock camera app, gallery app, and the task manager app. Is anyone having any problems with their update?

I got the update and got screwed. The phone worked fine the last 4 months. Now with this "update" Verizon is.sending me a new Intuition. Lost everything, including the ability to use Google Play for apps. It has been a long day. I still like the phone. But this silly "update" (more like a virus) took the wind out of my sail.
