LG Encore goes on sale for $49.99 on-contract through AT&T

If the $149.99 price tag of the LG Vu Plus might be a little too much for you to afford, but still yearn for a touchscreen enabled LG phone, then maybe their recently launched LG Encore could prove to be alluring. Priced at a mere $49.99 with your signature on an accompanying 2-year agreement, the latest touch enabled device from the Korean manufacturer is now available for the grabbing – which is a bit more reasonable in the pockets.
The LG Encore features a 3” touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, aGPS, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headset jack, quad-band GSM connectivity, and dual-band UMTS. Not only will it appease some basic users out there, but it should prove to be a decent multimedia packing device with its certified Dolby Mobile playback and compatibility for AT&T's Video Share service.
