LG Encore for AT&T is set to go on stage starting on September 5
It's been a while since we've seen a touch-only offering from LG for AT&T's lineup, seeing that we've most recently got acquainted with the LG Vu Plus, but it seems as though that the Korean manufacturer is on the verge of launching their latest handset. Surprisingly, the LG Encore is expected to make its debut starting on September 5th and will hopefully stick around the lineup racking up some sales. This feature phone packs a 3” touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, dual-band HSDPA/UMTS, microSD card slot, and aGPS. Software-wise, it'll naturally offer things found on other AT&T devices like AT&T Navigator and AT&T Social Net. Even though it looks as though it'll be available very soon to the masses, there is no word yet regarding its pricing.

Nice little device. Where's the LG Octane for Verizon? Same specs for the most part, from what I hear.

This phone is terrible. we've had it 6 months and it can't operate without being rebooted (removing and reinstalling battery) multiple times per day. You will miss calls and text messages. We are locked into a contract with AT and T and have to go through the excruciatingly slow and ineffective warranty process of replacing this terrible phone with the exact same model.
AT and T customers beware: this is a terrible phone!
