Is it really going to have the faceted back??? I thought that was only on GSM variants, all the CDMA versions so far are smooth and boring...

Ya that's what I was thinking. I would be cool if it did come with this back though. It makes sense with the name. Hopfully it won't be as thick as Sprint's either.

I talked to the HTC rep yesterday and was asking about it. Apparently the VZW version will have the diamond back, and it will not have the 4GB internal memory, but instead a memory card slot. I did ask if it will have the increased memory the Touch Pro should of had and he replied yes and said it will ship last week of March and start selling once the Blackberry promotion expires. The BB Promo stops March 31st. So I'm guessing stores will start seeing them in stock but not available to sell till a launch date Verizon will dump in infomanager.

VZW waited because they wanted to be able to put more memory into it. The first round of GSM and CDMA variants had only 4gb internal. This should have micro sd compatibility. Verizon has tried hard to make sure that devices don't have locked memory because that was one of their biggest reasons they say they declined the iPhone (trying to avoid the face of hypocrisy they so often portray).......... we'll see. 6.5 would be nice on the new line of WinMo devices.

The BOGO for the BB prolly also had something to do with the wait. I am a BB guy though so don't mind. I think VZW is trying to align themselves to be RIM fav. carrier, even if it cost them a few WinMo sales. Prolly worth it in my estimation. If they can get the newest BB more times than not, and if the LTE Nokia rumor holds true, VZW haters (right or wrong) won't be able to say they have a weak phone lineup. Heres hoping, eh?

htc makes shitty phones, on the inside yea their great but since the outside is made out of the worst plastic available its so fragile and it doesnt feel well in your hand
