Curiosa enables update notifications for Cydia apps
Just because you like to acquire your apps from an alternative source doesn’t mean it should be a hassle to keep them up to date. Previously, those who obtained apps via the Cydia store on a jailbroken iOS device were forced to manually check for updates.
Curiosa is a new jailbreak tweak, that comes to us via prominent jailbreak developer Ryan Petrich, which enables Cydia updates to be integrated into the iOS 5 Notification Center, making it easy to keep your software up to date.
Curiosa has a number of customizable settings such as specifying how often it checks for updates, to check for updates only when connected to Wi-Fi, and the ability to set notifications based on keywords.
To install Curiosa, you need to add Ryan Petrich’s repository http://rpetri.ch/repo to Cydia under Manage > Sources, then just download Curiosa for free from the Cydia store.
