Another patent from Apple targets to make phone gaming a real world experience
Remember the days when we were kids? Back then, we used to play some real-life based games and, as strange as it may sound now, it was a pure joy. Apple apparently wants to bring these days back with their latest patent, which is titled "Interactive Gaming with Co-Located, Networked Direction and Location Aware Devices" .
The idea is that you can use your handset as a gun (for example) and play with your friends a multiplayer battle in a real-world space. The iPhone 4's GPS, gyroscope and accelerometer will indicate whether your shots hit the target or not.

It seems Apple is even planning to release accessories to make gaming more enjoyable (for example a gun grip handle), so maybe the Cupertino-based company is taking this idea seriously. And let's face it -  attarcting new customers with the iPhone 4's gaming options is a great way to enhance the phone's appeal.

To us, it just sounds like a great idea and we wouldn't mind turning our homes into an iPhone-inspired battlefield for an hour or two. Only time will tell the practical implementation of this patent, but do you feel ready to use your iPhone for a deathmatch with your buddies?
