T-Mobile store refused to sell iPhone 17 Pro to subscriber unless he added this accessory

I was with T-Mobile for 19 years 2006-2025. This last April I switched to AT&T when I had the fiber Internet installed at my house. Not that I was looking for one, but it would have been nice to get a small perk for all the year with them or just say, "thank you for being a customer". I once tried to pay off my phone because I had a little extra money to do so, they applied it to my accessories I had bought with the phone instead. I was so mad, and they said they could not reverse the action, Really?? It was at that point I started looking at them in a different way. Every store visit was a high pressure sales pitch, even if all I was going there for was a screen protector. It got to be to much, Amazon was my salvation. I am sort of happy with AT&T...(not) The are devious as well. Not disclosing things to me about there being two separate bills for Internet and the cell phone. It seems obvious, but the guy made it seem like they would come in one bill which he set up auto pay. So auto pay was paying the cell bill meanwhile I fell behind 3 months on the Internet bill. A. Why did he not tell me specifically they were separate bills one Internet and one for the cell phone? B. And if so, Why not set up auto pay for both of them while you were here. Why was he so secretive about this, it makes no sense other than deceptive tactics. Always quoting the phone price, never phone plus Internet so it seemed low.He would answer my calls until I traded in my old phone after that he ghosted me. I wanted explanations for not setting up auto pay for both, and setting up an extender, And charging me for it after I told him I didn't want one or need one. I don't trust anybody these days anymore. Someone's always trying to screw you out of money somehow or a sock it to you somehow. And AT&T also has screwy billing where the bills all over the board and never seems to have a steady consistent amount. I've also read where this is a notorious practice of theirs and they've been so many times over this exact same thing. Adding stuff to people's bills they don't have didn't or didn't order. But now where am I going to go? Verizon?? Not for at least another year I won't be able to. And then trying to talk to a human being. I mean I know that's kind of goes everywhere but they may be the worst offender. Nearly impossible to talk to a person. I give up. I surrender. Give me a non-shady phone company or give me death. I guess I'll order my headstone now.
