Sneak peek shots of the Samsung Fascinate reveals Bing's presence
Inching ever closer to its speculated launch date of either September 8th or 9th, there are undoubtedly some Verizon Wireless customers itching to get their tasting of their variant of the Samsung Galaxy S. The latest round of leaked images of the Samsung Fascinate reveals some interesting things that will make any veteran user take notice very quickly. Needless to say we'll be treated once again to Samsung's tried & true TouchWiz interface, but upon closer inspection, one could easily spot the usual Google Search bar widget replaced with Bing. It was only a couple days ago when the Bing app for Android was announced to be mainly found on Bid Red's devices – so it's fitting to find it on the Fascinate. It's not the first time we're witnessing this kind of change on an Android phone, but it surely looks as though the carrier will always have some say in regards to software on any phone they offer.

Way to do, your research the bing comes from samsung not verizon. Look at all of the other verizon phones they are not default bing but other verizon phones not from samsung are not bing.

jcoberg. Do your research before telling someone to do theres. Verizon signed a 5 year contracts with microsoft to use bing. This just happens to be the first phone since that contract. All other galaxy S phones in the US use google search.
